Dolphins!!!

Dolphins are said to be the most intelligent animals is the world. Dolphins are mammals that live in the ocean\sea and are beautiful and mostly friendly. Dolphins are quite popular for their playful attitude. They can jump out of the wtaer, ride on the waves, play fight, and like interacting with human who go swimming. Since these animals are mammals the have a hole on top of their heads so they can breathe.

These friendly creatures are suprisingly carnivores. They eat fish, squid and bigger dolphins like a orca\killer whale, eat things like lions, turtle and seals.

Dolphins are normally hunt and live in groups called pods.On average, a dolphin with a weigh of 200 Kg. to 250 Kg will eat between 10 Kg to 25 Kg of fish every day.

A female dolphin is called a cow, male are callled bulls, and baby dolphins are called calves.

Dolphins have amazing eyes and hea pretty well, they are also pretty good with their ability to use echolocation for finding the exact location of objects.

By communticating, they use clicking noises, whistling and and other sounds.

Some dolphins are colse to extinction so we need to help these creatures.  Some fishing techniques cause deaths to Dolphins such as the use of nets, that kill a large number of dolphins every year.
