guinea pigs

Guinea pigs are the most adorable rodents you can find. Having 2 myself, they can be the most loveable creatures you could know. Guinea pigs can eat veges, grass, hay and fruit, but dont give them citrus friut or melon which can cause the diarohea (dont know how to spell it.) Full grown femals should weigh 800g- 900g and males should weigh 900g-1kg. I advise you to get two of the same gender unless you want guinea pig babies. By the age of 8 weeks, guinea pigs canstart having babies and they can make A LOT of babies, so be careful. If you can get more then one guinea pig then do so, because guinea pigs can be quite lonely when your not around. Give a guinea a big cage\hutch so they can run around a lot. Clean the hutch at least once a week, so that they stay healthy. 

If you want to get a guinea pig you must stay quite patient with them and don't  be loud around them. They have weak hearts so they can die of fright. If yo want to be a guinea pig owner be calm and gentle, guinea pigs are very good pets that can keep you company at all times

P.s I advise you, if you want to have one, make sure their cage is not in your bedroom, because then your room starts becoming smelly.
