Meerkats!!!

Meerkats are the cutest animals you can see. if you dont know what meerkats are, they are squirrel-sized thinks that casn stand on their hind legs and peep out into the world. Meerkats work together like a team. Some will be on the look out for predators, others will be foraging for food to get for their families and them selves. Meerkats can eat insects, lizards, birds and fruit. They communicate with purring sounds. Meerkats are good hunters and are sometimes tamed for rodent catchers. They live in burrows that keep them cool if they live in hot areas like Africa. Females can give birth to 2-4 a year. Fathers and older siblings help raise the younger meerkat, by teaching them to play, forage and teaching them to be alert when predators are near. Young Meerkats can be so fearful that when an airplane flys pass that they hide.
